| Abstract(in English) | In recent years, the new way of utilizing IP networks has emerged in which data communication has been done without human intervention like sensors. These use cases need much lower latency and higher bandwidth compared to the existing use cases. However there are physical constraints like propagation delay to realize such use cases. So, with those kinds of constraints, new concept has been introduced called MEC which stands for "mobile edge computing". In MEC, extra computational resources or storage resources has been installed to the place very close to or inside of the LTE base stations. Terminals can use these resources and expect quicker replies from nodes close to base stations. This situation enables us to make the communication latency very low and it also make the TCP throughput much higher. On the other hand, in exchange for low latency, terminals can't make handovers between base stations due to the architecture constraints of IP network. Therefore, we focus on introducing the SDN concept into mobile network with low cost and try to make not only lower latency or higher bandwidth but also handovers possible. |
