Analysis of Bandwidth Allocation Algorithm Based on QoE Model for Video Services

Abstract(in English) We have proposed bandwidth allocation algorithm based on QoE model for video services. This algorithm aims to maximize the satisfaction ratio of QoE which is requested by service provider, and works better than conventional methods. However, this evaluation was performed on limited traffic conditions. In this paper, we have performed characteristic analysis taking into account the change of movie traffic call frequency, the existence of priority users and non-priority users, and the high QoE requests from service provider. Results indicate that our algorithm works better than the conventional method even if the bottleneck link heavily congests, and satisfaction ratio of QoE is higher when service provider requests truely required QoE than high QoE.
