Examination on Contrast Improvement Method for Dichromats Using Hue Conversion with Multiplexed Conversion Amount

Abstract(in English) Dichromats have difficulties in distinguish certain color combinations in images. In this paper, a new evaluation index for hue conversion for dichromats is proposed. The proposed index measures shortage of contrast in an output image compared to an input image. Using the proposed index (and the index called CCFR), it is revealed that optimal parameter values of hue conversion method vary depending on image characteristics.
