Verification of PSS-PSO Parameters in IIR Filter Design

Abstract(in English) PSS-PSO has been developed as a IIR filter design method with a high performance. PSS-PSO is a method to escape from local minimum stagnation due to the high intensification ability of PSO. Although it has been confirmed that this method utilizes the dependencies between variables in PSO by stretching the problem space, a search mechanism was still unknown because a solution space of the IIR filter design problem was unknown. In this study, the solution space of IIR filter design problems is revealed by investigating the search mechanism of PSS-PSO.
