Abstract(in English) | Tokyo City University changed its name from the former Musashi Institute of Technology in 2009, and has been promoting future city research projects through the fusion of the arts and sciences, with an engineering faculties at its core. Since 2016, my laboratory has been collaborating with researchers from the urban life studies, human life sciences, and general education departments to conduct research using sensor networks to address the declining birthrate and aging population in cities. In this report, I will talk about a trial experiment of a real-time monitoring of public facilities and a vacancy status notification system using a sensor network that we conducted in a shopping district around Tokyu Jiyuugaoka Station, and then introduce the details of our studies on position estimation systems using RSSI. |
