Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In digital data hiding, a property called "transparency" is required in general. This property means that the embedded secret information cannot be recognized by human recognition systems. On the other hand, visible or hearable data hiding methods have been proposed according to the idea where the signals generated by the embedded messages can be naturally harmonized with the cover contents such as video signals and music pieces. In this paper, it is proposed to improve the method utilizing reverb effects by employing multiplexed time-spread echo hiding techniques. It is shown that the proposed method is effective through numerical and analog communication experiments as well as subjective evaluations of the stego musical sounds.
