Abstract(in English) | Due to the progress in smartification of facilities in recent years, maintenance of IoT devices such as sensors is facing an enormous challenge. Since IoT devices are widely distributed in facilities and their positions and relationships are changeable, support for maintenance tasks is indispensable, especially for non-specialist workers. In addition, it is essential to record maintenance logs for future maintenance. However, in an environment with numerous IoT devices, it is impractical to consistently and accurately record their information and logs over many years. Therefore, we assumed that in interactive support based on augmented reality, accurate maintenance logs could be recorded simultaneously as a result of task support. In this research, we proposed and developed a method to support the maintenance of the IoT system that incorporates recording of logs into task support. The experimental results showed that the system provided sufficient task support compared to previous methods with an instruction manual. Regarding the devices for augmented reality, handheld devices were found to have a slight advantage over head-mounted displays due to device operability. As for maintenance logs, the system was able to accurately and automatically record the necessary items accurately and save time. |
