| Abstract(in English) | Message-passing demodulation is a promising method for demodulation in massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) uplink. In this talk, approximate message-passing (AMP) and orthogonal/vector AMP are reviewed as conventional algorithms that only use messages in the latest iteration to update the current messages. To solve disadvantages in these algorithms, long-memory message-passing algorithms are introduced. These algorithms utilize messages in all previous iterations to update the current messages. Theoretical and numerical comparisons are presented to reveal challenges and future direction in message-passing demodulation. |
