Image Recognition-Based Ingredients Input Support for Food Nutrition Calculation

Abstract(in English) Contemporary nutrition tracking applications often rely on standard nutrient databases, overlooking the specific ingredients' impact on meal nutrition. To accurately calculate the nutrition, it is necessary to input the list of ingredients, which can be a significant effort. Therefore, we created an application using image recognition to estimate ingredients from meal images, reducing the effort required for input. Our models predict nutritionally calculable ingredients and are further improved with a relational graph. Experimental results show a substantial reduction in user usage time, enhancing the overall user experience.
