Abstract(in English) | In recent years, there have been studies on detecting road damage from images, but the detection targets are limited and the degree of damage has not been estimated. In this study, we used Faster R-CNN to detect and degree estimation of two types of road damage from drive recorder images. As a preprocessing step, drive recorder images were orthorectified to standardize the shape and size of road damages. As a result, the accuracy of road damage detection and degree estimation was improved compared to the case without preprocessing. |
