Abstract(in English) For coupled multi-core fibers, it is not possible to simply calculate the connection loss from the lateral and angular misalignment of each core, as is the case with uncoupled multi-core fibers. Therefore, this paper reports the results of electromagnetic field analysis on the relation between the connection loss and the lateral and angular misalignment of coupled multi-core fibers.
