Abstract(in English) Benchmarking Content-Centric Networking (CCN) router implementations is becoming an important task as many high-speed router implementations have been developed. Existing studies perform performance tests using uniform request patterns; however, such uniform request patterns allow only the maximum throughput to be measured. Specifically, because the CCN router performs stateful processing such as caching according to content requests, such uniform request patterns overlook the performance degradation caused by non-uniformity and instability in stateful processing. This study addresses the generation of non-uniform content request patterns on a programmable switch-based CCN traffic generator. Finally, we show the performance degradation overlooked in tests with uniform request patterns by performing performance tests on a CCN router implementation.
