Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the increase in the number of single-parent and elderly-only families, as well as changes in work patterns such as both parents working, the elderly and children are often left alone. For this reason, many local governments are focusing on "building networks to watch over children and the elderly". To make the networks sustainable, watch-over support systems will play an important role. However, the cost of running these systems prevents them from being deployed. Crowdsensing is a promising solution for collecting data on watching over the elderly and children at low cost, if we can overcome people's reluctance to share personal information with others. Therefore, this paper focuses on a "P2P-based crowdsensing watch-over support system" that can be operated at low cost and allows the watch-over supporters themselves to decide whether to provide the data that may contain their privacy. Although this system is effective in protecting the privacy of watch-over supporters who provide data, it is insufficient in protecting the privacy of watch-over subjects, namely. the elderly and children. This paper proposes a method to enhance the system's capabilities to protect the privacy of the watch-over subjects.
