| 抄録(和) | 空飛ぶカメラとして空撮目的で広がりを見せたドローンは、今や点検や物流等の商業利用から、戦争地帯における爆発物を搭載した軍事利用など、多種多様な広がりを見せている。我が国において国策としてドローンが語られ始めたのは、2015年まで遡るが、産業の創出と産業そのものと言えるドローンの飛行を制限する規制が同時に動きだした。他方、海外では日本ほど厳しい規制が敷かれておらず、より自由にドローンを飛行させる研究開発や、柔軟な社会実装が可能なため、日本よりも遥かに早いスピードでイノベーションが起きている。ここでは近年のドローンの発展のトレンドと、そこから見える世界と日本の市場の違い、今後のさらなる市場発展のために日本が必要なことを紹介する。 |
| 抄録(英) | Unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones, have evolved significantly from their initial role as aerial photography tools to a diverse array of applications encompassing commercial tasks such as inspections and logistics, as well as military operations, including the deployment of explosives in conflict zones. In Japan, the discourse around drones as a component of national policy commenced around 2015. This period marked the simultaneous emergence of an industry dedicated to drone technology and the implementation of stringent regulations governing drone operations, effectively shaping a unique industrial landscape. In contrast, international contexts exhibit less restrictive regulatory frameworks, fostering a more rapid pace of innovation in drone research, development, and societal integration due to the increased latitude in drone operation. This paper aims to present an overview of recent advancements in drone technology, highlighting the disparities between the global and Japanese drone markets as inferred from these developments. Furthermore, it will explore strategic approaches Japan might adopt to enhance and expand its drone market in the forthcoming years. |
