Abstract(in English) | In the field of human-animal robot interaction, it is considered possible to give robots a sense of life by imitating the behavior and external features of animals. In this study, we developed a prototype of a bird-like robot with functions that mimic the egg-laying behavior of birds, with the aim of realizing a robot with biological life cycle functions that have not yet been implemented in animal robots. Preliminary experiments were conducted to evaluate the impression of the robot before and after spawning, and to see whether people feel a sense of life or a sense of heart. The results of a subjective questionnaire administered to four subjects indicated that, on average, the impression of the robot's life and spirit were intermediate, but some subjects tended to feel more life-like when the robot was equipped with the spawning function. |
