Ground Penetrating Radar Development and application to Humanitarian demining in Ukraine

Abstract(in English) The mine detection sensor "ALIS", which is a combination of ground penetrating radar (GPR) and metal detector, is equipped with 800MHz-2.6GHz GPR, and provides the operator with a 3D image of buried mines through migration using the back projection method. Migration provides clutter removal and visualization of buried mines. Full-scale operation in Cambodia began in 2018, and in 2023, 12 units of ALIS were provided to the Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC) through ODA. A pilot project to introduce ALIS to Ukraine from 2023 has also started, along with operational tests in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Colombia. In November 2023, 54 units of ALIS were delivered to Ukraine
