Abstract(in English) In transportation system, there is a need to develop advanced infrastructure systems to decarbonize, conserve energy, and improve safety and security.In this paper, we focus on the fundamental technologies for 1) smart poles (road traffic) and 2) level crossing monitoring systems (railroads) as transportation infrastructure system.In the field of radio wave radar, which is expected to be superior in terms of long range, target tracking based on velocity measurement, and weather resistance, we have focused on the stepped multiple frequency radar system, which provides multi-target handling, bifocality, interference resistance, and high resolution in a small equipment scale, and develop a 24-GHz band stepped multiple frequency CPC (Complementary Phase Code) radar.In this paper, we report on the effectiveness of this radar based on the results of various basic experiments.
