Effect of Beamforming on Interference Mitigation in High-Density Drone Networks

Abstract(in English) In this article, we consider high-density drone networks, where drones are deployed densely to transfer data from terrestrial users. High-density drone networks can increase ground-user coverage and communication capacity, but a more careful network design is required considering interference among drones. We evaluate the feasibility of high-density drone networks when interference mitigation techniques are applied to the networks, such as the maximum ratio combining multiple-input multiple-output~(MIMO) and link scheduling in spatial time division multiple access~(STDMA).
