Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Self Interference (SI) cancellation is essential for realizing in-band full-duplex (IBFD) communications. An active SI canceller (ASIC) has been proposed as a method of the SI cancellation, in which a replica of the SI signal is generated and subtracted from the received signal. However, the replica generation requires accurate and periodic channel state information (CSI) estimation, which is inefficient in wireless Internet of Things (IoT) communication scenarios where communication requests occur randomly. To address this problem, differential active SI canceller (DASIC) without requiring prior CSI estimation of SI has been proposed. However, owing to the effects of delay path, SI cannot be completely eliminated. This paper proposes a method to blindly remove the residual SI component by adaptively controlling the interval of differential delay that can be set in the DASIC algorithm according to the appearance pattern of its own transmission signal. Furthermore, on the premise of using the error correction technique, iterative detection and decoding (IDD) is applied to improve the detection accuracy while exchanging extrinsic log-likelihood ratio (LLR) between appropriate maximum textit{a-posteriori} probability (MAP) detector and decoder. Finally, computer simulations confirm the efficacy of the proposed method in terms of bit error rate (BER) performance.
