Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Among renewable energies, photocatalysts are attracting attention as a clean energy source that utilizes sunlight and achieves hydrogen and oxygen generation through water splitting. We have reported on a photocatalytic device with zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc) deposited on an organic thin film solar cell structure. In this paper, in addition to ZnPc, we fabricated photocatalysts using copper phthalocyanine, titanyl phthalocyanine, and metal-free phthalocyanine as co-catalysts, and will report on the results comparing the oxidation performance.
