[Invited Lecture] Basic Study of Time-Spatial Propagation Path near Human Body in 300 GHz Band Using Map-Based Hybrid Channel Model

Abstract(in English) In Beyond 5G, radio over terahertz technology is expected to be applied to relay millimeter-wave communications in terahertz bands, and terahertz band wireless links are expected to be realized by MIMO systems. In this report, we propose a method to generate multipath waves between a user terminal and a relay device such as a wearable terminal in a 300 GHz band based on a map-based hybrid channel model, in which a direct wave and body scattered waves are considered as deterministic resident waves, and other scattered waves are considered as non-resident waves. As a result of actually measuring the time-spatial propagation paths generated by the proposed method, although the propagation paths reproduced the unique characteristics of the communication environments, there remained an issue with the spread angle of each cluster.
