Abstract(in English) | Initiating commercial services globally, fifth-generation mobile communication systems (5G) are expanding quickly. In 5G, it is essential to increase the density of base stations and to use high-frequency bands. Appropriate allocation of these radio resources (base stations and frequency bands are collectively called radio resources) is important to achieve the benefits of increased radio resources. In this report, we assess the properties of an allocation strategy that, with regard to offset optimization in cell range expansion, integrates machine learning and convex optimization based on proportional fairness criteria. |
