Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 1,1-bis((di-4-tolylamino)phenyl)cyclohexane (TAPC) shows a variety of emission modes such as monomer and excimer emission, electroluminescence from the tritrylamine between TAPC molecules, and exciplex emission from the TAPC/electron transport layer (ETL) interface. In this study, we analyzed the mechanism of OLED operation based on various emission forms by changing the interlayer thickness at the TAPC/ETL interface. By increasing the interlayer thickness, TAPC and exciplex emission were suppressed, and the external quantum efficiency was increased up to 3.3 times.
