Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | With the explosive proliferation of wireless devices, the demand for wireless communications is increasing yearly. Smartphones are equipped with wireless LAN (WLAN) and cellular and are used in various locations. Since WLAN uses an unlicensed band, radio interference from other systems using the same frequency band degrades communication quality. Although it is possible to avoid interference by using a different frequency band or channel for communication, there are almost no frequencies below 6 GHz available. However, if the systems are spatially separated, radio interference decreases, and they can share the same frequency band. In this report, we focus on the distribution of system terminals near access points and evaluate the throughput characteristics depending on the distribution of terminals and the distance between access points of multiple systems. Computer simulations evaluate that it is desirable to increase the distance between a system and other systems when the number of terminals in the system is small and to decrease the space when the number of terminals in the system is large. |
