| Abstract(in English) | A low-profile conical antenna (CA) loaded with an inverted L-type parasitic element (ILPE) is used with the aim of maximizing the integral value of the radiation pattern on the cut plane (horizontal plane) perpendicular to the long side of the ground plane. By electromagnetically coupled power feeding of ILPE at 2 GHz using CA, a figure-eight pattern is formed on the horizontal plane and the pattern integral value on the cut plane is maximized. We placed the CA in the center of the ground plane and investigated the effect on antenna characteristics by changing the ILPE installation position and number of elements through simulation. As results, we obtained the radiation pattern integral values in simulation and measurement are 765 and 468, respectively. |
