| Abstract(in English) | Recently local economies have been facing many challenges due to declining birthrates, aging populations, and information technology, and universities actively participate in regional revitalization projects. Although there has been high demand for information technology to revitalize regional economy, often been criticized that information technology hardly lead successful achievements, and resulted in increasing the information gap. This research conducted regional revitalization projects in collaboration between industry, government, and academia into open data, and attempts to solve regional issues based on data analysis. Firstly, this paper investigated local consumption trends, and secondly promoted sales of products through websites and social networking services based on the data. Lastly the effect of the website was measured based on emotional valence through a questionnaire survey. Data shows a positive effect of the website, indicating that it contributed to the local economy by promoting product sales. |
