Abstract(in English) | The light absorption spectrum of the active layer greatly affects the photoelectric conversion characteristics in organic thin-film solar cells. In this study, we inserted a wide-gap organic semiconductor as a hole transport layer to widen the optical band and transfer excitation energy for the active layer. By comparing two wide-gap hole transport layers with different highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) levels, we find that when the HOMO level difference between the active layer and the wide-gap hole transport layer is large, the current-voltage characteristics are S-shaped. |
