| Abstract(in English) | In recent years, mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets have become significantly more powerful. We are developing a cluster system using mobile devices running the Android OS in order to effectively utilize these resources as computing resources. In the preceding researches, we developed an Android application that performs parallel processing using MPI and realized a cluster system that enables parallel execution using MPI between mobile devices running the Android OS. However, only mobile devices running the Android OS can be used in this cluster system. When aiming to extend the performance of a cluster system, it is possible to incorporate computers other than mobile devices running the Android OS. In this paper, we will implement a cluster system that uses computers running the Android OS and Linux OS in order to extend the performance of the system by incorporating peripheral computers such as PCs. In addition, we will verify the operation of the system and evaluate the performance of the four programs and the load-balanced program. |
