Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper introduces a stochastic digital cochlear model. The study demonstrates that the model is capable of mimicking the fundamental characteristics of mammalian cochlea. Additionally, the model is realized using a field programmable gate array. The research indicates that the model can be implemented with reduced hardware resources and lower power consumption compared to a conventional ordinary differential equation cochlear model. These results suggest that this model can be applied to future small, low-power cochlear implants that mimic fundamental characteristics.
