Abstract(in English) | This paper discusses a ranging scheme using LoRa that uses narrower bandwidth chirp signal for finding lost objects in indoor environments. The beat-frequency method can realize ranging by less calculation amount; however, the error becomes larger using the narrower bandwidth chair signal. The correlation detection can range less error; however, the calculation amount is larger. The combining scheme is proposed to take advantage and compensate for the disadvantage. In the proposed scheme, the beat-frequency method is adopted at first. After that, the ranging result Is calculated by the correlation detection. The search range is narrower by the result of the beat-frequency detection. The beat-frequency detection is iterated to improve the performance so that the ranging result is in the range of correlation detection. The performances are evaluated by the computer simulation. The ranging is possible using LoRa signal by the proposed scheme. |
