Abstract(in English) | The 6 GHz band is attracting attention as a new frequency band for wireless LANs in response to the depletion of frequency resources caused by the rapid spread of wireless communication systems in recent years. On the other hand, radio interference to existing stations must be avoided for effective use of radio frequencies. In other words, there is a need for a dynamic channel allocation method that can cope with the increasing demand for frequency channels while avoiding radio interference to primary users (PUs). In this study, we propose a dynamic channel allocation method based on relative and absolute evaluation methods of the Analytic hierarchy process (AHP). We evaluate the performance of the proposed method by comparing it with a simple channel selection method defined as a conventional method. The simulation results show that the AHP-based allocation can select channels that satisfy the required conditions while avoiding radio interference with PUs and existing secondary users (SUs). It is also suggested that AHP can satisfy ambiguous requirements that cannot be set by conventional methods. |
