Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, while climate change is occurring in many parts of the world due to the effects of global warming, there are reports of an increase in the amount of sunlight in Japan. This has raised concerns about the effects of increased ultraviolet radiation on the environment and human health. In particular, ultraviolet-B (UV-B) radiation has the highest energy of all solar radiation reaching the earth's surface, and excessive exposure to UV-B is known to increase the risk of skin cancer and other health problems. Therefore, monitoring of the UV index and regular measurement of UV radiation levels are considered important for the health and well-being of individuals. To address this issue, the authors propose a UV monitoring system utilizing IoT technology. The system is designed to collect, analyze, and visualize the measured data in real time, enabling both short- and long-term monitoring of UV exposure during outdoor activities. This paper describes the details of these methods and proposes a system aimed at avoiding health problems before they occur.
