Abstract(in English) | In recent years, more people than ever are building and using wireless networks with the increasing popularity of smartphones and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. When building a wireless network, it is necessary to design it into consideration the communication range of each base station, radio interference, traffic demand, etc. However, ordinary users do not always have sufficient expertise, and it is difficult for them to design the optimal network. Therefore, this paper proposes a system that supports network design by visualizing current wireless communication area quality information using augmentedreality (AR) technology. In this study, we created an AR application that visualizes the Wi-Fi environment while measuring it indoors. The headset used to display wireless communication area quality information (Oculus Quest 2) is used to measure Wi-Fi, and objects reflecting the measured data are placed at the locations where the measurements were taken. By doing this atmultiple locations while moving around, the wireless communication area quality of the entire room was visualized. This allows a visual display of the received power at each point in the room and an intuitive understanding of the state of the signal, such as whether the signal from the base station is reaching the entire room. |
