Abstract(in English) | Applications of micro-CT in pathology and histology have been studied in recent years, and we need to shorten the scanning time to increase the efficiency of the examination. Sparse-view CT enables us to reduce the scanning time, on the other hand, it causes a degradation in the quality of reconstructed images. We have proposed an interpolation method of projection data sampled by sparse-view scan using a convolutional neural network and enabled to improve the image quality of sparse-view micro-CT images. In this study, we aim to further increase the image quality using a generative adversarial network that can consider the perceptual quality of images. As a result of the experiment using real data, we can obtain sharper CT images than the result by training only a generator. |
