Forwarding-Delay Distribution Analysis for Relay transmission in Platooning with Sidelink Communication

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a theoretical analysis for transmission delay distribution of end-to-end relay transmission in a platoon car with sidelink communication. First, the mathematical model in this paper shows that the transmission delay of Sensing-Based Semi Persistent Scheduling (SB-SPS) in a single hop follows a uniform distribution. In addition, we show that the transmission-delay distribution in multi-hop relay transmission with SB-SPS can be obtained by convolutional integration of the delay distribution functions for each hop. The validity of this analysis method is demonstrated by comparing the results with computer simulation results.
