Abstract(in English) Various mantle-cloak antennas have been proposed to suppress mutual coupling. However, the bandwidth between operating frequency band and rejection band is wide. In addition, the conventional methods are cylindrical structure which is difficult to fabricate by high dielectric materials. This report proposes the square rod mantle cloak antenna which is easy to fabricate and provides the rejection band on the low frequency side close to operating frequency. The structure of proposed antenna are square rod dipole antenna covered with high dielectric substrates and strip conductors installed at center of each face, and a matching section at the center of antenna. The rejection band lower than the operating frequency can be obtained in the simulation and measurement. In addition, the incident wave to the proposed antenna can pass through the rear side without disturbance by the cloaking effect. Furthermore, the mutual coupling suppression between antennas at close operating frequency is confirmed by the measured transmission and radiation characteristics.
