Abstract(in English) | The environment in which attention has economic value is called the attention economy, and it has been expanding with the spread of social media. Under the influence of the attention economy, users who actively post ethically problematic content in pursuit of their own profit have emerged, and this has become a social problem. Many contents that are intended to attract attention, for example, fake news, are distributed with the fear of negative effects on society, and this is an issue that requires urgent countermeasures. In this paper, we propose a model of attention fluctuation to understand how information senders attract attention. The model is based on the Lotka-Volterra competition equation, which describes how information providers in a competitive relationship compete for users' attention. We also show that the Hopf bifurcation occurs at a fixed point, which is a coexistence solution, and confirm the parameter properties of the model through numerical experiments. |
