Coil Current Waveform Analysis for Various Drive Voltage Waveforms in Wireless Power Transfer

Abstract(in English) In magnetically coupled wireless power transfer uses nearby magnetic fields, it is necessary to pay attention to harmonic components of the power transmitting and receiving coil currents in order to comply with the Radio Law, which is a constraint for practical application. The author performed harmonic analysis of 10 systems combining five typical drive circuit methods and various resonant circuit configurations. This paper showed the characteristics of the circuit methods and numerically compared and discussed the contribution of each method to waveform reproduction, harmonic component ratio, and distortion rate. As a result, available knowledge obtained as a practical reference.
