Abstract(in English) With the recent development of mobile communication technology, antennas mounted on vehicles have been attracting attention. In our previous study, we have clarified the received power characteristics and the behavior of antennas on the rooftop of cars. In this study, the received power characteristics inside cars are examined using a simplified car model. The directivity and cumulative probabilities of the received power of a 1-GHz dipole antenna are analyzed by three-dimensional electromagnetic field simulation to show the relation between antenna location and received power characteristics.
