Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Optical-TES is a TES based detector optimized for the visible to near-infrared wavelength range. Recently, it begins to be applied to a variety of applications such as quantum information, bio-imaging, and light dark matter search. We have been developing a system in which optical TESs are arrayed in multipixel arrays to provide a large detection area, and the signals from these arrays are multiplexed and read out at high speed using a microwave SQUID multiplexing frequency division scheme ($mu$Mux). In this presentation, we reported the evaluation results of a prototype $mu$Mux chip with a resonance frequency interval of 80MHz, a resonance frequency variation of 20MHz, and a resonator bandwidth of 20MHz, which was designed for signal readout from a 40-pixel optical TES array. The results of the demonstration experiment of signal readout from a 40-pixel optical TES array using this chip were reported, and issues that need to be addressed when further increasing the number of pixels in the future were discussed. |
