| Abstract(in English) | The measurement of self-compassion, which reflects one's compassion towards oneself, is usually achieved using a questionnaire known as the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). However, SCS often requires a lot of time to complete, leading to substantial psychological resistance for sustained use in daily life. Therefore, to explore the potential reduction in time to measure self-compassion through estimating SCS scores with heart rate data measured by smartwatches, an experiment that examines the correlation between six weeks of heart rate data and SCS scores was conducted. As a result, a common trend was observed among participants with significant range in their SCS scores, suggesting the potential for estimating self-compassion. |
