| Abstract(in English) | This talk introduces the study of wireless sensing framework, in which wireless communication devices are used for sensing. In particular, as for device-free sensing using feedback information for MIMO eigenmode transmission in IEEE 802.11ac/ax wireless LANs, we introduce machine learning-based sensing performance improvement as well as machine learning-independent angle of departure estimation, respiratory and heart rate estimation, real-time intruder detection, and line-of-sight estimation. These results suggest a potential privacy risk in that sensing is possible from maliciously sniffed feedback information. In addition, we introduce human gait direction estimation using low-frequency acquired CSI to avoid excessive CSI observations, and device-free sensing using mmWave beam scan. |
