Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Levels of visual attention and cognitive load were evaluated with a modelling of behavioural responses and microsaccade (MS) rates. MS rates were measured in a dual task of detecting a vibration stimulus in the peripheral field of vision and a RSVP task in the central field of vision. The model of behavioural responses suggested a directional bias in the peripheral field of vision. Another model based on MS rates during tasks was developed to estimate temporal change of cognitive loads. Effectiveness of experimental factors, response correctness, directional bias of peripheral region stimulus presented were evaluated using the model estimation. The relationship between behavioural responses and attention level based on MS rates was discussed.
