[Invited Talk] Latest Trend of Mainstream Wireless LAN in IEEE 802.11

Abstract(in English) Mainstreams of IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN standardization activities have focused on high speed. However, 802.11be standardization whose products compliant to its standard draft currently coming out as Wi-Fi 7 aims to improve latency and jitter besides pursuing high speed. An Ultra High Reliability Study Group (UHR SG), which is a prior activity group for 802.11bn standardization expected to start from November 2023, focuses on reliability as its name suggests. Latest technology trends of these two activities are described.
