Abstract(in English) | Mainstreams of IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN standardization activities have focused on high speed. However, 802.11be standardization whose products compliant to its standard draft currently coming out as Wi-Fi 7 aims to improve latency and jitter besides pursuing high speed. An Ultra High Reliability Study Group (UHR SG), which is a prior activity group for 802.11bn standardization expected to start from November 2023, focuses on reliability as its name suggests. Latest technology trends of these two activities are described. |
