Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, power electronic converters using high-speed switching devices have been used in various power supply systems. Power electronic converters function as two-port circuits to convert and control energy. However, the conventional design and control theory of power electronic converters is mainly like a one-port, focusing only on the response of the single port. In this paper, we focus on the operation of a bidirectional DC/DC converter as a two-port circuit and analyze its conversion characteristics as a nonlinear mapping circuit. We show that transformers and gyrators exist as pairs in the nonlinear mapping characteristics, and that they characterize the global mapping characteristics as reciprocity and nonreciprocity.
