A PWM/digital Converter for Improved Conversion Resolution using Frequency Multiplicator

Abstract(in English) For IoT (Internet of Things) devices, a reduction in power consumption is desired. To reduce power consumption, research presents the circuits that utilize subthreshold current, a type of leakage current. However, the variation in circuit performance concerning temperature becomes an important issue. Therefore, a temperature-compensated 0.6 V operation analog/PWM/digital conversion circuit was designed in a previous study, but an improvement in conversion resolution is desired. In this study, a PWM/digital conversion circuit is redesigned and evaluated to improve the resolution of the PWM/digital conversion circuit by using a frequency multiplication circuit.
