Abstract(in English) | 5G is expected to be applied to low-latency video transmission, however, the setting of QoS for low-latency video delivery has a high packet loss rate. For low latency video delivery with minimal packet loss, it is necessary to dynamically control t-reordering and RLC mode settings depending on the wireless environment. This study proposes a method to dynamically control QoS settings based on packet loss prediction using a hidden Markov model (HMM) to achieve stable video delivery. The HMM learns the wireless environment, which varies with location and time, in about 150 seconds and achieves more than 80% learning accuracy. Furthermore, we obtain radio information from the user equipment's modem and control the base station's radio parameters every second. The proposed method improves the average Freezes Duration from 3.88 seconds to 1.91 seconds for video delivery using WebRTC, showing that the proposed method stabilizes video delivery. |
