Abstract(in English) | In recent years, software-defined vehicle (SDV), meaning vehicles that can update functions via over-the-air (OTA), like smartphones and personal computers, have been attracting attention. Traditional in-vehicle software has been developed to run only on dedicated hardware, and updating functions to a vehicle after shipment requires dealer support. SDV hides hardware differences and allows development of in-vehicle software that does not depend on specific hardware, making it easy to update functions. The number of automobiles equipped with communication functions is increasing every year, and the traffic is expected to increase as they are connected to the Internet. In this paper, we propose a method of adding an HTTP/3 application, which is a congestion avoidance communication method using Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN), to an vehicle communication device by OTA as an example of application to SDV, and also present the results of performance evaluation and driving tests of cellular communication. |
