Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is expected to realize a future society, called Society 5.0, that solves economic development and social issue simultaneously. Society 5.0 will be able to produce new values by seamlessly integrating the real and virtual worlds. For instance, an accurate human digital twin model can achieve skill tradition. The digital twin model will be created by accurately collecting human behaviors using wearable sensors. However, only a few reports still demonstrate the creation of many human digital twin models in a wide area, simultaneously and in real-time. To realize this, it must solve how to accommodate wearable sensors in the 5G system effectively. In general, wearable sensors do not equip a 5G system interface but only equip near-field communications, like Bluetooth Low Energy. Therefore, this paper proposes the architecture to solve this problem and implements the prototype system using a local 5G base station. Through the quantitative evaluations, the paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed architecture.
