Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mental care to alleviate anxiety and loneliness is essential for preventing mental illness and mental health. Psychotherapeutic counseling is one such mental health care option. However, many people find it challenging to receive counseling due to the costs and resistance caused by public image. To solve such social problems, there is an urgent need to develop an interactive system with treatment skills equivalent to those of psychotherapists. In this paper, we describe the development of a counseling dialogue system that mimics the dialogue techniques of narrative therapy, a type of psychotherapy using ChatGPT, and the results of a dialogue experiment.
